Position:  Lead . NET Developer   (MUST HAVE LEAD EXPERIENCE)

Company: Homesite Insurance

Duration:  1 yr contract

Work authorization: GC/USC

Location: Boston, MA (Position is remote to start but candidates must work EST time; once covid passes this is an onsite job; candidates in the Northeast will be accepted)

Description:

Job Description

·         Design and develop cloud based RESTful micro services

o    Designing and developing micro services using Java

o    Developing and deploying database or equivalent

o    Creating ETL (extract, transform and load) process to populate database

o    Utilizing best practices including agile, TDD (Test driven development)

o    Use Git as the source code repository

o    Orchestrating deployments with other development teams so systems don’t fail. 

·         Maintaining and enhancing legacy applications 

o    Maintaining system documentation

o    Responding to alerts and outages in all environments.

o    Designing and developing new features and bug fixes.

o    Using Microsoft technologies

·         Working with architects to architect system optimizations
