**2 Positions** - Candidates submitted will be considered for both opportunities. Same candidate skillset desired.

Position #1

•             18 months. Current end date will be 6/30/21 (end of fiscal) plus addition extension.

•             Sponsor prefers someone local for the longer-term position considering if things should return to normal allowing work to be completed onsite. Currently MSFT is offsite through July.

Position #2

•             Shorter assignment duration expected to end before 6/30/21. Duration will depend on workload and project completion.

•             Candidate can sit offsite anywhere in the US.

 

Team has high leadership visibility, within the HR function, owning anything that is reward related (i.e. promotions, reviews, requirements, rewards overall, etc.) Currently the team is working on an in-house tool that is used internally by Microsoft and has an up-coming new tool. One internal tool is used by all Microsoft employees and the other tool used by Microsoft management. Very important work, Satya is responsible for the tool approvals. The tools are used once each year and are very critical to Microsoft.

Initially both positions will be working on the current tool, once the project goes live one of the positions will start working on a new tool/project.

Analyzes and evaluates computer and business systems. Supports design, implementation, and testing. Performs cost/benefit/risk analysis. Assists in ensuring that the methodology is compliant with information technology guidelines. Works with Program Manager to identify tasks and scheduling. May work closely with or delegate assignments to other members of immediate workgroup.

-              Skills: 3-5 years work related experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

-              Strong understanding of employee data required, SAP HR or Successfactor EC preferred.

-              Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills required.

-              Must be able to communicate effectively. Strong technical design and process analysis skills may be required.

-              Strong business-related background preferred.

 

Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects

Business group: HR Services Solution Management

Surrounding team & key projects: Microsoft internal HR compensation tools.

Reason for the request: Team has multiple projects. One need is for a replacement and other need due to increased workload.

Interaction level with team: Regular daily interaction with sponsor and engineering team. Will work primarily with sponsor and one other team member. Overall, will work within the HR program. Will be included in various team meetings.

Candidate Requirements

Years of experience required: Sponsor is okay with junior to mid-level experience.

-              Is familiar with HR terms. *Worked with HR data.

-              Candidate has either experience working with a HR tool and/or on HR experience from the engineering side.

-              Perform UAT testing.

-              Write test scripts.

-              Any experience with SAP or Success Factor (Nice to have)

-              Work independently.

-              Important that sponsor will be able to assign candidate(s) tasks and is confident that the tasks will be completed.
