JOB DETAIL

  • Hands on experience with HiveQL and Hive optimization techniques.

  • Expertise with Big Data tools like Sqoop, Kafka, Spark and Oozie.

  • Experience working with REST API.

  • Hands-on experience with Java, Scala and Python.

  • Solid understanding of ETL, ELT and data warehousing techniques

  • Use Wherescape Red (ETL automation tool), SSIS, SQL and other ETL tools to perform majority of the development tasks

  • Troubleshoot and debug Hadoop ecosystem run time issues.

  • Experience in Data Warehouse and BI Analytics

  • Experience with Hortonworks Data Platform.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase.

  • Experience working in Agile Environment.

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Understanding of the insurance domain a plus
