Client job description As the Powershell / Splunk Data Analyst you perform big data, mission critical analytics on data sets within Active Directory. You will be part of the analytics team, this position contributes towards our mission partners’ success by providing actionable business intelligence, and assisting in the identification and neutralization of internal and external threats in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilites:

Performing data analysis and generating related reports, dashboards, and Splunk-based applications using Powershell Work with the system that collects and maintains the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis data used for analysis Understanding mission partner needs Providing thought leadership to the team environment Building relationships across different disciplines and management levels Educating management and peers about Splunk Data Analytic related issues Maintaining compliance with security regulations and guidelines Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience with comprehensive knowledge of data analytic principles, methods, and techniques
• Previous experience in search, report, and dashboard development expertise using Splunk Enterprise
• Extension Powersehll scripting experience
• Demonstrated understanding of information technology machine data sets (operating system / network infrastructure / middleware / application logs)
• Experience within Active Directory Must possess effective organizational, listening, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated aptitude for analytical thinking, problem solving, and working multiple tasks concurrently Ability to work idenpendently
• I'm thinking 6 weeks.
