Job Duties:
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications and produce necessary documentation
• Primary function will revolve around converting existing Pentaho ETL streams to SSIS packages and jobs.
• Monitor daily production streams and develop monitoring tools for those streams.
• Architect and Develop application databases.
• Support the application development team as needed.
• Develop tables, functions, stored procedures, triggers, and SSRS reports as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of database development experience using SQL Server and SSIS.
• Experience working with SSIS and Pentaho.
• Must have good analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills -- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to users in non-technical language.
