Seeking a Senior Wireless Test Engineer to work within a Big data team in a Tier 1 Carrier. The consultant will serve as the primary person responsible for validating software integrated on target devices against mobile network simulator or live network. We are looking for people who are driven by releasing high quality solutions and solving challenging validation problems with creative solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•         Translate device insight feature requirement into LTE/5G network simulator test script.
•         Lead designated Quality Assurance Projects and deliver status reports and results in schedule. 
•         Develop, Execute and Validate test cases, document results, log issues found and lead RCA to closure. 
•         Develop and automate test plans based on product requirements increasing test coverage. 
•         Strong test automation development experience for mobile device. 
•         In-depth understanding on Android Device testing tools, including debugging, and define AOSP release impact on existing SW. 
•         Collaborate with project managers and development teams to capture validation requirements and audit test coverage. 
 
Required Qualifications
•         Strong experience with wireless telecom protocols validation (5G, LTE, GSM/UMTS, VoLTE, Wi-Fi)
•         3+ year of embedded software test experience with a solid track record of validating wireless protocols for internal and external customers
•         3+ year of Android App (APK) or Android Device Test Automation Experience
•         3+ year of experience using Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 network simulator or similar equipment
•         Deep understanding on the key aspects of embedded software validation and debugging tools (logcat, QXDM, PCAP, Network Simulator log) 
•         3+ years of experience with Java, Python with strong code debugging skills
•         Some script language (bash, shell) knowledge required
•         Demonstrable experience of complete mobile device/application test cycle from product requirement definition to customer release
•         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding on testing required to validate product requirements
