Roles & Responsibilities:
- 5-8+ years of progressive, professional experience in C# and ideally some cloud computing experience (PCF, Azur, AWS or Google Cloud)
- Work will entail both backend development .(NET Core) and front end (JavaScript)
- Understanding of software theory and algorithms, computational theory and practice, software engineering lifecycle/design, database design and data storage, network security and architecture, operating systems and ethical programming
- Implementation experience using higher level framework facilities like Asynchronous Programming, LINQ, Threads, Parallel Processing & Concurrency and Security
- WCF for implementing web services across multiple protocols; working knowledge of legacy ASMX is a plus. Such experience should include dealing with multiple Serialization (XML Infoset, JSON, Protocol Buffers, etc.) and Encoding practices
- Experience developing REST style web services across multiple Web API platforms, with or without MVC design. Such experience should consider instancing and throttling model for implementation and hosting
- Messaging technologies like IBM MQ, Solace MQ, MSMQ and Rabbit MQ
- Practical experience with client-side languages, technologies and frameworks like JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 4, Ajax (any toolkit), HTML5/XML
- Writing SQL Queries, T-SQL stored procedures, views and SSIS packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Financial/Trading services industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
