Our client is a niche technology consulting start-up with a primary focus to serve companies using leading solutions for Order Management, Supply Chain Management, e-Commerce and Enterprise Integration.
This position will remain 100% remote until March 2021, then the position must sit onsite in Atlanta, Denver, Dallas or Greensboro NC.
Non local candidates would have to be open to relocation.
Job description:
· Design, develop and configure project deliverables for eCommerce applications primarily on IBM Sterling OMS
- Review high level business requirements for Omnichannel solutions and implement them using Sterling OMS suite of products
- Analyze, troubleshoot and fix functional, deployment or systemic issues with enterprise software applications
- Build tools for automated testing and deployment of applications
- Develop and share best practices on installing, configuring and maintaining software applications
- Guiding customers through OMS upgrades and solution rewrites as appropriate to leverage new tech stack or features
- Support UAT, QA and performance tests to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Learn and champion new technologies and new versions of best-of-breed industry products to enhance customers’ OMS implementations
- Mentor and train junior resources in Sterling OMS solution development
Skills:
- • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering preferably Computer Science or Information Systems
- 4+ years of Sterling OMS implementation/support/testing experience
- At least 2 years of Hands-On Java/OMS Development and familiarity with SOA, XML, REST, JSON
- Proficient in tools like Eclipse IDE, SoapUI,
- Familiar with SQL and usage of either Oracle Database or DB2
- Good knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA, SVN - GitHub/Bitbucket
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Self-starter with motivation and diligence to drive towards results
- Developer positions – up to 70% annually (all expenses paid) or relocation
- Support Role Relocation required which could mean < 20% annual travel
- Enthusiasm to learn new tools, technologies and techniques
