Role: Windows Admin with powershell script

Location: Washington DC

Remote till June 2021

Consultants should be in VA, DC, MD, PA, NC, and WV only

Visa: GC and Citizen only

Powershell script experience is must.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, Monitor, upgrade and maintain VMware hosts ESXi 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0. VM tools

version and hardware version of servers

• Execute and install applications using PowerShell scripts

• Create User Accounts, Profiles and assign permissions in Active Directory

• Administer the Group Policy to automatically upgrade and repair software

installations

• Installation and support for desktops with Windows 2003/2008 and 2012 Operating

systems

• Provide Remote Support and administration on network for internal and external

clients using tools like Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection (RDP)

• Create Virtual Machines for member servers which host services like IIS, DNS, and

DHCP.

• Provide day to day support (troubleshooting and installing) for more than 1000 users

for hardware, network and software including Microsoft Office applications, Mail clients

and other network related issues

• Installation and configuration of network Printers

• Provide backup and recovery of the files and data

• knowledge on Windows Firewall, Terminal Server, and Troubleshooting computer

related problems. Attending client calls related to servers and network problems

• Performing Cloning, Snapshots, cold and hot Migrations using Vmotion and storage

Vmotion

• Performing Patching on monthly basis on both production and non- production using

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

• Creating templates from VM’s. Deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources

• Administration/break fixes on daily basis on existing servers

• Handles the resolution of OS issues, virus updates, hardware refresh and end-to end

troubleshooting

• Handling, creating and maintaining the DFS shares.
