PeopleSoft Administrator

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension

Location: The client is in Columbus, OH but this is a remote role

 

Our large electric energy client is looking for a PeopleSoft Administrator to support their current PeopleSoft FI 9.0 and HR 9.1 environment while current staff joins a project to upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.2.  This will be a combination DBA/application developer role.

 

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are spread across multiple environments (i.e. Development, Test, and Production), and include 35+ databases

  • Integration Broker Messaging between HR, Finance, Expense, OIM, Maximo, Cook, DWMS/Storms, Web Methods.
  • Maintenance of security certificates maintenance
  • Application of PeopleSoft/Expense PUMs after upgrades
  • Internal/external user sFTP and password maintenance for HR integrations
  • PeopleSoft Tuning
  • Server maintenance
    • Monitor and resolve server bounces
    • Process and Scheduler cache clearance
    • Space management
  • Set up and maintenance of application server domains
    • Logins
    • Integration Broker messaging
  • Security Administration for PeopleSoft Finance and Expense
  • Password Administration across all environments and impacted application 
  • Maintain CRON jobs
  • Work with Middleware on the F5 setup used for HR with the Portal
  • Perform Tools and Database upgrades across all environments
  • Initiate and validate database refreshes
  • Assist Application teams (both Support and Projects) with trace files, tuning, migrations and much more in the development and test environments
  • Restart application servers, process schedulers as needed when issues arise in the test environments. 
  • Support Auditing and SOX controls
    • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual queries and certifications
  • Migrations
    • PeopleSoft Projects
    • SQRs and COBOL programs (e.g. includes compiling source code)
    • Scripts (e.g. includes execution and verification)
