Description
Internal Description:
- Creating a secure Python API wrapper to parse POS sales data by Signing authority and/or franchisee network using the Oracle API (spec attached) as the source of data, for Franchisee near real-time data feed.
- Creating a code for parsing and loading JSON feed into Data warehouse in near real time mode for Corporate BI Support.
Description:
- Designing and implementing effective data models and structures that meet requirements and needs
- Query large databases and other data sources using SQL programming languages.
- Experience in working with multiple, large datasets/warehouses, and ability to integrate and extract from such datasets using relevant programs and coding.
- Experience using SQL to analyze customer level data, such as POS/transactional or weblog clickstream data.
- Creating & administering database objects including tables, indexes, views, sequences, procedures and database replication.
- Experience taking transactional business data, analyzing that data and using analytics tools and systems to present the findings and insights
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, comprising of both structured and unstructured data, using statistical techniques and advanced analytics
- Loading JSON files from Cloud Storage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc.
- Experience with data warehouse principles like SQL joins
- Experience with database management like DB creation, index creation, db optimization, indexing.
- Good understanding of SQL performance tuning techniques including query plan understanding and management, SQL tracing, DB stats, indexing techniques, using AWR reports etc.
