Role: Mainframe Analyst/Programmer

Location: Chevy Chase, MD

JD:

This role will support the Test Data Management initiative by primarily focusing on fulfilling test data requests via mainframe systems.

Key Skills

1. Adhere to security and control, Sarbanes-Oxley, and change control processes

2. Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.

3. Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.

4. Work with IT support teams (EIA, DA/DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented

5. Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.

6. Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle

7. Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing

8. Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development

Nice to Have

1. 5 years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis and coding: COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, CA7 etc.

2. IT technical background & mainframe programming experience

3. Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment

5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

6. Ability to multi-task effectively

7. Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks

8. Testing experience
