Mainframe Lead Developer

Location – Atlanta, GA

 

The position is for experienced Mainframe technical lead with past experience in Anthem WGS Claims system, technical skills required for this position is COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, Endevor etc.

 

UST Global® is looking for a full stack Technical Lead to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess excellent background on Front end and backend development technologies. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

 

Responsibilities As a full stack Technical Lead, you will

·         Consult and co-ordinate with business teams and customer stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze them and get required clarity.

·         Maintains active relationships with Product Owner to understand business requirements, leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the product owner • Leads efforts with Integration/User Interfaces.

·         Must have healthcare working experience.

·         Responsible for all customer communication at Onshore and provide required support to Customer stakeholders.

·         Use independent judgment to analyze and recommend solutions.

·         Provide technical support to the application.

·         Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.

·         Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.

·         Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.

·         Support teams on high priority issues.

·         Collaborate with dependent teams in meetings and design presentations.

·         Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort

·         Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team.

·         Leads multiple or large projects and facilitates large group JAD sessions for user stories.

 

Requirements:

·         Ten or more years programming with supporting/interfacing with business stakeholders experience; and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

·         Five or more year’s hands on experience using Mainframe application working as Developer/Tech lead and/or Solution Architect roles.

·         Experience in Designing, developing and deploying solutions.

·         Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts/opinions on technical solutions/processes clearly.

·         Ability to collaborate with various teams to formulate design and testing strategies.

·         Able to work in Onshore /Offshore model

·         Experience with Test driven development

·         Work experience in Agile (Scrum) development teams required

·         Health care domain experience is mandatory

·         Knowledge to informatica/Teradata will be an added advantage

·         Knowledge to reporting tools also can be considered.

1.     Languages and Programming skills:

a.     System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, C, C++, Assembly, Perl, TCL/TK, Makefile, Spice

 

2.     EDA Tools:

a.     Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor tool sets (one or more)

b.     Simulators, Lint, CDC/RDC, DC/RTL-C, ICC/Innovus/Olympus, ETS/TK/FS, PT/Tempus, Calibre etc. (experience with one or more tools)

 

3.     Technical Knowledge:

a.     Implement IP Spec, Architecture Design, Micro Architecture, Functional Spec, Test Plan, Verification

b.     Understand and implement Bus Protocol AHB/AXI/PCIe/USB/Ethernet/SPI/I2C, Microprocessor architecture

c.      Strong Physical Design / Circuit Design / Analog Layout Knowledge

d.     Strong Synthesis, DFT, Floorplan, Clocks, P&R, STA, Extraction, Physical Verification

e.     Strong Soft / Hard / Mixed Signal IP Design, Processor Hardening, FPGA Design

4.     Technology: CMOS, FinFet, FDSOI - 28nm / 22nm / 16ff / 10nm and below

5.     Strong communication skills and ability to interact with team members and clients equally

6.     Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills with attention to details

7.     Well versed and able to efficiently use the available EDA Ability to deliver the tasks on-time per quality guidelines and GANTT

8.     Ability to understand the standard specs and functional documents

9.     Required technical skills and prior design knowledge to execute the assigned tasks

10. Ability to learn new skills in-case required technical skills are not present at a level needed to execute the project

 

Knowledge Examples:

1.         Have led and executed project(s) in any of the design by executing – RTL Design / Verification / DFT / Physical Design / STA / PV / Circuit Design / Analog Layout etc.

2.         Understanding of the design flow and methodologies used in designing

3.         Understanding of the assigned tasks and a good knowledge to execute the project tasks assigned by the client / manager as per known skills
