Corporate Firewall Engineer

You will participate in cross-functional teams in engineering, network, security and plant manufacturing to provide support for Cisco ASA Firewalls, telecom infrastructure and active directory where industrial control equipment resides. You will primarily be supporting the St Paul campus and initially working to update network and firewall designs to align with CPwE, NAC, and security initiatives. There will be on call firewall support and participation in the teams' global initiatives.

As a Network Engineer, working with Cisco ASA, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Supporting/Participating/Coordinating St Paul Campus industrial control refresh projects
* Supporting Cisco ASA Firewalls
* Participating on cross-functional teams, utilizing technical knowledge, problem assessment, and strong communication skills to provide timely resolution for process control equipment issues
* Participating/leading review meetings for manufacturing firewall rules with clients/vendors
* Participating in 7X24 on call rotation

*Your Skills and Expertise:*

Our most successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

* Associates degree or higher from an accredited institution
* Three (3) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment providing technical support of manufacturing process control equipment
* Experience and training with Cisco ASA firewalls

Additional desired qualifications :
* Experience and understanding with industrial control systems (ie: PLCs) and protecting with an ASA firewall
* Strong troubleshooting skills, with fault isolation and resolution experience with networking, routing protocols and network design
* Experience with change management supporting new IT, engineering, and manufacturing controls processes
* Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
