Title - Oracle OnPrem to AWS RDS Cloud Migration

Rate - $60/hr on C2C

No H1B/CPT/OPT

Duration  - 6+ Months

The position is with Anthem NGS and the person MUST be willing to work onsite in Eldersburg, MD once the COVID restrictions are lifted.

Please keep in mind that the KEY SKILLS they want this person to have are Oracle 12c OnPrem Migration to AWS RDS Cloud

Strong experience with Amazon AWS RDS (Amazons Rapid Deployment System for deploying and managing multiple Oracle instances)

experience migrating large Oracle Applications from Legacy On Prem to an Amazon AWS RDS environment

Prefer someone with AWS Certification and Oracle DBA background as well

Oracle 12c OnPrem Migration to AWS RDS Cloud

Develops database designs based on business requirements.

Reviews and revises database designs and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met.

Builds database structures based on detailed design.

Performs database testing to ensure performance is met and compare with expected results.

Provides support during the system implementation and production.

Suggests new features, coding techniques and reference material. Identifies gaps in scripts and procedures.

suggests options for implementation of features.

Requires detailed business knowledge, detailed technical design knowledge, knowledge of database administration techniques and database administration tools.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.

Experience with DBMS performance management and monitoring tools.

Proficiency in utilizing DBMS system management tools and implementation of new features and functionality preferred
