I’m looking for an experienced solutions design (Architect) resource to support small proof of concept projects (POC’s). Our team currently has a gap on Azure experience/knowledge. We need a go to resource with in-depth experience-based knowledge of Azure. This person will be dedicated to multiple projects and mainly interface with other team members and potentially stakeholders that perform testing. Our team is currently all working remote. Team members are expected to commute into office (once allowed with COVID-19 restrictions) 2 – 3 days a week for team meetings/interaction.

Required Skills: Qualified Candidates must have the following:
#1 – Prior Experience developing integrated solutions in a manufacturing environment including integrations to plant manufacturing systems and data.
#2 – Senior level experience developing solutions utilizing Azure applications concerning Azure IoT hub, Azure SQL, cognitive services, AI, data gateways, DevOps
#3 - M365 applications (SharePoint, Power Platform, MS Project, etc.)

~~Position Description:  Solutions Architect (SA)
The Solutions Architect, or Smart Manufacturing Azure Solution Architect (SA), will support key small- and medium-sized Proof of Concept (POC) projects in a portfolio of Global Operations/Smart Manufacturing projects.

~~The resource will support the Portfolio Manager for assigned projects and will be expected to collaborate on projects by providing technical consultation and Azure expertise on productivity solutions at the plant floor, such as mobile apps.  The Azure Solutions Architect will be a member of a full-service Smart Manufacturing team and will execute projects in compliance with the established processes and standards, including developing standard project, business analysis, and technical documentation. 
The Solutions Architect resource will have strong skills in M365 applications (SharePoint, Power Platform, MS Project, etc.) and Azure applications concerning Azure IoT hub, Azure SQL, cognitive services, AI, data gateways, DevOps, etc. to support various project tasks with varying complexity, including integrations to plant manufacturing systems and data.
Preferred skill set would include experience in smart manufacturing solutions and existing common manufacturing systems (RT Duet, OSI PI), data, and operations.

Minimum Required Qualifications::
• Experience developing integrated solutions
• Azure IoT Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Azure SQL db, Azure cognitive services, data gateway experience
• Related experience supporting projects roles of PM/BA skills to run small innovation POCs with Azure
• O365 SharePoint, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• PowerBI visualizations experience
• Database design and schema knowledge
• Manufacturing systems knowledge (OSI Pi, RT Duet, Savigent, etc)
• Powershell, SPFX, etc. coding expertise
• MS Project development expertise
• Manufacturing experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills are required to work effectively as part of a globally distributed team and user community
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to travel up to 10%
