Responsibilities:
- As a IPA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of new and existing automation processes
- You will be exposed to a wide array of business applications that get tied together with our robots, and will create value for the organization by automating business tasks.
- Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle
- Employ agile development practices including test-driven development and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration to improve overall execution speed and product quality
- Design, develop and test workforce (Bots) Process Automation Solutions for various business units by leveraging Robotic and Cognitive Automation platform
- Collaborate with IT to deploy and maintain the Bots in production
- Respond to and resolve production issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science is desirable
- A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in software development in a Linux, Core Java, Python, C/C++, NoSQL, and Relational Database
- Required technical skills: Core Java, Linux, Python(optional), SQL, RPA Platform/Tools (Workfusion preferred)
- Desirable technical skills: Knowledge of math/statistical/machine learning libraries
- Strong understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, and understanding of Microservices Architecture
- BFSI industry knowledge desirable
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred)
- Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, web server, application server, source control system, unit-testing tool and defect management tool
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiency
