Job Description:
As a Functional Lead, you will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of business requirements for the business processes. You will uncover client requirements using industry standard model-driven analysis techniques, make recommendations for process and business flows and develop consensus on requirements. As a Functional Lead, you will require technical knowledge and the ability to express technical concepts in terms that are understandable to business managers. You will leverage creative relationship building skills when interacting with users, IT and business leaders and program management staff.
Roles:
- Perform baseline business and technical impact analysis by analyzing metrics, organizationalstructure, resources, core work activities, existing documentation and supporting technology related to business processes
- Participate in team collaboration to understand project requirements and translate those requirements into clear and comprehensive user stories
- Perform model driven analysis to map and analyze existing/as-is processes
- Conduct gap analysis on existing processes and potential alternatives
- Perform To-be analysis by identifying, validating and implementing changes to incrementally improve process efficiency and effectiveness
- Facilitate consensus on project objectives, assumptions and constraints amongst stakeholders and present business analysis findings in a final package
- Lead or participate in a variety Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Identify and document areas of potential business risks and communicate these appropriately
- Lead the elicitation and review of requirements, epics, user stories, release notes and other artifacts and communicate requirements to both the business and technical team members.
- Maintain and track requirement and specification through requirement traceability matrix, configuration modification and other usage change control processes through the software development life cycle
- Work closely with Quality Assurance team to review test cases, conduct defect testing and UAT
- Initiate, support or participate in continuous improvement projects
- Help to ensure project(s) achieve their intended results
- A consultative approach to problem solving
- Ability to think on your feet and learn new things quickly
- 5+ business analysis experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 5+ Salesforce experience
- 4+ years of experience in Use Case diagramming, User Story Creation, Business Process Mapping, Sequence and Activity diagramming, and UML is required
- Salesforce certifications preferred
- Certified Scrum Master Certification is highly desired
- Proven experience working in an Agile and SDLC environment
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Technical knowledge of system analysis is required
