Work Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
5+ years of experience in application development.
5+ years of experience in solution design
C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework (ORM)
HTML5, Angular, Knockout, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS
Web API, JSON, XML, REST
T-SQL, SQL Server Service, ETL, Database Modeling, Design Patterns
Knowledge of Agile Methodology, SCRUM framework, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps
Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
Previous work experience with a P&C Insurance company is required.
The candidate will be responsible to design and support development of technology solutions aligned with business needs and enterprise architecture standards. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering optimal solutions for property and casualty Insurance projects.
100% remote – Eastern time zone. Must be located in USA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leads evaluation, design and analysis of enterprise-wide solutions
Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives
Proposes architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations, and suitable alternatives to satisfy customer needs
Acts as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution development
Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
Collaborates with enterprise architecture, information security and applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designs
Ensures compliance of solutions to enterprise architectural standards
Acts as a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in solutions architecture
Produces architecture artifacts
