 My Direct client is looking for a Business Analyst with 5 years of experience using Power BI and at least 3 years in Oracle OTBI for reporting and dashboards.   This opportunity will serve as the Business Analyst for technology and business projects specifically in Oracle Cloud Fusion for Financials projects 

 

Minimum Requirements: (Power BI and Oracle OTBI Financials)

 

  • Proven experience in successfully using Power BI and Oracle OTBI Cloud Financials
  • At least 5 years of high degree of proficiency with Power BI
  • At least 3 years of OBTI Oracle Fusion reporting
  • Relevant retail industry experience.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentations) and inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment and competing demands
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from team members and stakeholders

     

Responsibilities: Power BI and Oracle OTBI Financials

  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to Oracle implementation and OTBI reporting
  • Assist in development of the conceptual Oracle OTBI reporting and analytics
  • Identify opportunities to streamline process and enable continuous improvement
  • Identify alternative approaches and pros/cons to enable informed decision making
  • Assist in the development of business cases for new project initiatives
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for leverage across business areas
  • Assist in providing intelligence for Oracle OTBI Reporting and SDLC documentation
  • Analyze and solve moderately complex business reporting opportunities
  • Participate on the team that works with the business user(s) to identify required changes.
  • Communicate needed changes to the development team.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Oracle OTBI Reporting for Cloud Financial solutions experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment including business process improvement and change management
  • 5+ years high degree of proficiency with Power BI tool
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
