Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Minnetonka MN or Raleigh NC OR REMOTE

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

• The DevOps Software Engineer bridges and owns the union between development, quality, security and operations by automating and accelerate the testing, release and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably.

• Establish and employ CI practices using tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git and configuration management automation tools such as Ansible (or other such tools) to create continuous delivery systems in a containerized environment using OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain robust infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to deliver provisioning, automation, configuration, integration and deployment of environments by ensuring that infrastructure, operations, and application security standards are enforced.

• Implement monitoring solutions to provide visibility into the application performance and infrastructure by detecting potential incidents and further implementing self-healing solutions that minimize the duration of disruptions.

• Main point of contact for non-production incidents, impacting the ability for engineering teams delivery.

What skills/attributes are required (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)?

• 10+ years experience administering Docker, Kubernetes & Openshift

• 10+ years experience deploying and supporting high traffic, scalable web applications/services

• 10+ years experience with Linux, including shell-scripting & command-line tools

What skills/attributes are preferred (will set a candidate apart)?

• Experience in Agile environment and Test-Driven Development

• Experience in Automated Infrastructure Testing (Test Kitchen, InSpec, ServerSpec, etc.)

• Experience with Microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture)

• Experience in Java, Groovy, MySQL and Azure cloud is a plus

• Experience in Micro products environment, Graph QL and Interoperability

• Health care domain experience/exposure is a big plus
