Details:

·Working on adding to existing library, stabilizing data pipeline that loads feature data into Dynamo data base for real-time consumption

·Moving Java API’s to Python so some java knowledge very helpful

·Python experience should be more data engineer centric vs web app development, but would like to see a little of both

·Need to be able to write code but also help more junior engineers

·Looking for someone who is senior enough to be engaged and ask questions/push back

·Day in the Life: 9:30 AM stand up then touch point in afternoons regarding daily issues/impediments; follow all the other agile ceremonies

·We need a solid engineer who enjoys their work, is engaging verbally, etc.

·Some prod support needed once every 5 weeks for 1 week

Tech Stack:

·Expert Python, Some Java, Spring, AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, ECS, Batch, Athena, etc), API/Microservices, CI/CD with Jenkins/Git

·Some exposure to big data (Hadoop or Spark)—not expert level at all, but candidates with this experience will have an advantage

·Use Splunk for monitoring
