Job Descriptions:

You’re Role:

You will participate and contribute on all team activities such as Pair Programming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective
You will develop front end React components
You will design and develop API code using Python and Node.js
You will perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work
You will be involved with testing: Design and implement unit, integration, systems, performance and load testing
You will stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to a client need when required
You will manage AWS resources in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Skills:

Senior role- 90% code writing
3+ years’ experience developing front end React components
3+ years’ experience developing API code using Python and Node.js
3+ years AWS infra experience is required
Experience with AWS services including S3, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, CFN
Experience with Docker
Experience with relational databases
Experience with testing including Design and implement unit, integration, systems, performance and load testing
Experience working on Agile teams
Experience and understanding of single page applications, responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions
Understanding of the HTTP stack and RESTful services
Experience with GIT
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Must ideally come from corporate environment, structured
Some knowledge of financial industry, especially accounting / general ledger is strongly preferred
