- Deep proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, HTML and PHP
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Experience with design systems (i.e. Atomic Design)
- Experience with Source Control a must
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As a Front End Developer on the Business Enablement team, you will build, maintain, optimize, and help design Client’s web properties. You will work on multiple sites with over 2 million page views per month. You will work with developers, designers, and content creators to make our little corner of the web as awesome as it can be. You will provide new capabilities to both internal and external users. You will evaluate and integrate with third party tools. You will convert static designs to dynamic, interactive experiences that work for anyone. You will build templates and reusable components that let content creators move quickly without sacrificing quality. You will keep up to date on best practices and new techniques to give our site users the best experience possible.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Working with stakeholders to improve Client’s public websites
- Solving complex problems and implementing designs following industry best practices using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Actively contributing ideas for website improvements and solutions to technology challenges
- Showing a passion for continued learning, staying abreast of new technology and techniques
- Delivering clean code, maintaining design, user experience and brand requirements throughout the development process
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 2+ years of front-end web development experience
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Experience with ESNext, React, and WordPress Gutenberg
- Experience with source control (preferably Git)
- Familiarity with design systems, like Atomic Design
- Experience developing for multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes
- Understanding of responsive web design
- Experience with tooling, such as Webpack, SASS, npm, etc.
