Android Application with host based C# Software as a Service Application on Azure.

• Communicate with Hardware Engineering group on functionality of Android Hardware.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience in project leadership and orientation in team

concepts are essential for success in this position.

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Sceience or equivalent highly desirable;
• Good working experience of Kotlin/Java
• Knowledge of the “Reactive Manifesto” is a definite PLUS.

○ RxJava, Observable, functional/reactive paradigm

• 3+ year of Android platform experience
• Good working understanding the Android Platform stack and experience communicating

with hardware peripherals and USB interfaces is a PLUS

• Android application development experience
• UI/UX Experience: Experience in designing user interfaces that work across multiple

Android form factors

• Familiarity with JIRA / Atlassian Tools / Agile a PLUS.
• Understanding of RESTful Web Services.
• Understanding/Knowledge of Material design
• Passion for clean code, reusability, testability and readability (SOLID)
• Experience in SaaS/Cloud application development and deployment into production is a

PLUS

• Skilled at object-oriented analysis and design

for a talented and passionate Research Engineer - Control Systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for development of control-electro-mechanical systems

and/or enhanced existing Time and Attendance data gathering and Access Control residence

protection devices. Working in collaboration, this position conducts technology advancement

initiatives with a focus on creating cost-effective control strategies, adaptive algorithms, and

product features with the goal of improving functionality of interconnecting systems, including

design of printed circuit boards and technological processes. The position also serves as a shared

technology resource with Seimens, and Unintronics based controllers.

In this role, you will...

• Repair to be performed in conformance with established standards. Assist in formulating

standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on

discrepancies noted in service delivery.

• Work with IT, FC Sof tware and Operations Engineering to develop and update controls

knowledge and training document for the facility team.

• Direct proof-of-concept testing and demonstration of technical feasibility aspects such as

stability, electrical safety functions, reliability, resilience, increased performance, and the

like.

• Participate in all stages of product design, development and documentation (concept

through manufacturing) for new and current models of Time and Attendance devices.

• Investigate applicability of new technologies for product valuation benefits to the

company and/or customer

• Remain abreast of emerging technologies and competing alternatives
• Serve as a project engineer on select objectives as assigned

 

What you need…

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of progressive experience in

analysis, modeling, and design of systems

• Educational background in topics of electrical circuit design and analysis, and

manufacturing engineering processes

• Knowledge of functional design objectives; selection of and interface requirements for

sensors, actuators, analog/digital electronics, microcontroller and the like

• Prototype development, optimization, signal processing, decision and control, fault

diagnostic, etc

• Product development process experience in design, modelling, soldering, analysis,

refinement, and validation cycle
