Must have Strong Big data engineering background with some Java development. Must have strong SQL experience and can create the code to find the solutions to the problems.  That is a main part of the job.  Spark and spark streaming is also important.  Bottom line is that we need strong genuine candidates.  They have already interviewed many who have not been genuine.

Primarily a Big Data engineer with Java experience as detailed below.

MID (7-10+ YRS OF EXPERIENCE)
• Develop and test code to deliver functionality that meets the overall business strategy and objectives
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark/Scala, Java /Spring/SpringBoot required
• Experience working on projects facilitating true CI/CD ( Drone, Vela) preferred
• Exposure to DevOps tools and culture (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Git, etc.) preferred
• Awareness of new and emerging Big Data technologies preferred Four-year degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or area of study related to data sciences and data mining, or equivalent experience
• Build the work needed to implement features from the product backlog
• Size user stories
• Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and execute all other testing-related tasks
• Test deliverables against a user story’s acceptance tests
• Execute necessary project documentation
• Work closely with other team to ensure that features meet business needs
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
• Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners
• Experience with test-driven development and software test automation
• Deep experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
