Position Description

- 10 years of experience as a programmer using the following:
- Visual Basic 6.0
- ASP
- COM+
- Visual Studio.NET v1.1
- Visual Studio.NET v2.0
- Web Services
- ADO
- ADO.NET
- JavaScript
- RDBMS (i.e., Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
- AJAX
- Desired Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience writing and testing new and modifying existing web application systems using VB
- 6.0, ASP, JavaScript, COM+, ADO in an n-tier environment.
- 2+ years’ experience writing and testing new and modifying existing web application systems using
- VB.NET. ASP.NET, ADO.NET in an n-tier environment.
- Additional Knowledge/Experience Advantageous to this placement
- Knowledge of insurance system
- Knowledge of Ohio BWC
- Experience developing services or developing applications built with services oriented architecture(SOA)
- App Center and Share point services
- Skill in the use of organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, VISIO, Clarity
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes, enhancements, and new technologies
