Need Network Engineer :: Tempe, Arizona :: 6 to 12 Months Contract

Position: Network Engineer or Data Admin

Location:  Tempe, Arizona

Duration: 6 to 12 Months Contract

Only US Citizens

TITLE: Network Data – L2             

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·         Monitors system and production processing performance

·         Responds to system alerts and problems

·         On-call support and rotation

·         Opens, troubleshoots and routes problem tickets

·         Identifies, analyzes and resolves issues including escalations when appropriate

·         Documents problem resolution utilizing standard procedures/tools

·         Supports system services and support, project support

·         Align support with Tech Support and Engineering

·         Communicates problem resolution and their impact to customers

·         Assists in the deployment of solutions and associated documentation

·         Participates in deployment checkout procedures

·         Manages own work load including administrative work for self

·         Completes assigned work in a timely and high-quality manner

·         Reports on progress of own deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training: B.S. preferred

Related Experience: 

·         4+ years’ experience in

• Deploying, configuring and support Cisco / Avaya switches / Technology
• Support various interface and communications technology
• Troubleshooting switch, routing and wifi issues in a various environment
• Troubleshooting telephony network systems
• physically adding hardware

·         4+ years’ general IT experience.
