Position: Citrix Admin

Location: Newark, CA

 

1.            Manage Citrix Farm, Application Migration activities.

2.            Creation of VM/Clone   importing new servers in the Citrix Farm

3.            Servers provisioning through Citrix PVS

4.            Publishing Citrix applications in the Citrix Farm

5.            Management of Citrix Web Interface, site creations

6.            Day to day troubleshooting

7.            Installation of Hotfix

8.            Farm and Servers Report generation and everyday Maintenance activities

9.            Xenapp policies and Architecture

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

•             Expertise and/or certification in server operating systems (Windows 2008, Windows 2012)

•             Working knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8)

•             Expertise of desktop virtualization technologies (Citrix, XenApp, View)

•             Working knowledge of network topologies and implementations (TCP/IP, DNS)

•             Working knowledge of Windows based print queues, file shares, and user/group (Active Directory) administration

•             Understanding of dependencies of other ancillary applications and interface to the Epic systems

•             Knowledgeable in scripting languages such as: batch, java, visual basic or Powershell

•             Technical expertise in healthcare environment; preferred

•             Working knowledge of back-end infrastructure technologies and principles (virtual, storage, disaster recovery and security); preferred
