Job Description:

Project Overview: The client will be rolling out 44+ sites on a framework which has already been built. This is the first Agile Project, and the plan for 2021 is to roll out 2-3 Brands in a month. 

Role Overview: Scrum Master expertise and strong eCommerce experience. Will play a Scrum Master role as part of a product team composed of Product Owners, UX/Backend architects (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), Integration Leads, QA leads, third party/vendors leads and internal PS. Will be accountable for timely delivery, dependency management, tracking/coordination between teams, agile methodology adoption, managing senior stakeholders expectations.

Responsibilities
Some key responsibility areas will be - Planning and Estimation, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Issue and Risk Management.
Assist Product Owners and teams in story writing, backlog maintenance and prioritization and planning. Facilitating creation and prioritization of program-level feature and architectural backlogs
Serve as teams’ or programs’ information radiator, representing the team or program to senior management, stakeholders and sponsors
Effectively use metrics and data visualization to report progress and support data-driven decision making at the team or program level
Facilitate estimation and planning at the team or program level. Assisting in creating useful, reliable and practical forecasts for delivery sprints and releases
Coach developer, designer and product team members in Agile practices, values and principles
Help teams and individuals clarify goals, and actions to achieve them
Shield the team from outside distractions, context switching and interference
Track and remove impediments

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in the Information Technology Industry
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred) or equivalent Scrum Master experience and stakeholder management expertise
• Experience working as a Scrum Master for medium to large size projects handling teams of 10-20 people.
• Vast understanding of eCommerce, which will help to understand the client business and requirements
• Agile program/delivery management, experience working with distributed agile teams, communication/articulation, ability to handle senior client stakeholders, issue/risk management.
• Knowledge of various relative story sizing techniques, in-depth proficiency to apply estimation frameworks as part of a whole team exercise against a mixed backlog of items as required by the product team and is able to assist, consult, or lead others in the application of various estimation frameworks.
• Proficiency in gauging team velocity and estimate capacity for Sprints and is able to craft the Sprint objective and goals
• In-depth understanding of the SDLC with experience supporting the development of custom applications
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand complex business and document requirements clearly
• Experience working in multi-geo or offshore environment
• Previously established framework for analysis and prioritization of resolution strategies
• Previously established project processes to ensure compliance
• Jira experience
