The expert Developer will participate in the design and development of modules supporting CLIMS workflows in the CLIMS applications.
Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to implementing requirements by designing, coding, and testing new features.
This assignment includes user interface development utilizing Java and Vaadin with database access through the Java Persistence API (JPA).
Develop unit tests using a Java compatible framework.
Qualifications:
84+ Months of Programmer Experience: Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work, write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions. Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of their field.
24 Months of development experience supporting laboratory workflow functionality.
12 Months of developing applications utilizing Java Persistence API (JPA) or other data layer technology.
84 Months of experience writing applications to interact with an Oracle database.
12 Months of developing applications utilizing the Vaadin application development framework.
84 Months of developing web applications utilizing technologies such as Java, JSF, JSP and Servlets.
48 Months of experience developing applications utilizing PowerBuilder.
BA/BS Degree or higher in computer science, information science, public health, or related field from an accredited institution
