Really need a strong java development background along with the security testing. CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, GSSP, & GPEN certifications are what this manager also looks for, and he will hire for sure.

Details:

Client is in need of a Sr. Security Engineer with proven expertise uncovering security vulnerabilities in a variety of different systems.  A bit of a twist with this requirement is they want someone who has a strong OOP/OOD background on top of the penetration/security testing.  They are looking for someone who can not only uncover the security vulnerability, but who can also write the code/patch to defend against it. The client does use burpsuite and Zed Proxy, but they are open to experience with any penetration testing tool.  The main focus is to be a strong Security Tester with a proven development background, preferably on Java. The strong development background is a MUST.
