Scope of the work is to execute and deliver device interoperability development testing for 2 devices from a single chipset supplier, this includes
ü Perform IOT and functional testing between 5 G Radio and chipset/OEM vendors covering both gNB and devices
ü Do analysis, test case design and review with chipset/OEM vendors
ü Execute testing, perform troubleshooting and record progress into the Quality Centre
ü Perform Software and hardware upgrade as well as configuration of the 5 G Radio to meet IOT requirements
ü Investigate and analyze all issues encountered during the test execution
ü Coordinate with either test team leads or directly with R&D personnel all faults that are encountered until resolution
ü If assigned to interworking support
Ø Collect logs to investigate issues reported
Ø Analyze logs to determine if the problem is with the radio product or the UE
Ø Coordinate with support lead or directly with R&D the investigation of the fault until resolution
Skill Set Requirements.
For each project the engineer will be required to work with the vendor to execute testing, troubleshooting and debugging of issues that occur during testing along with document the results of the project at closure. Interoperability Test Engineer requirement with following Skills:
Team is expected to have experience in
Ø Testing radio network system, analyzing protocols stacks using protocol analyzer tools
Ø IP networking protocols such as IPv 4 and IPv 6 and Internet technologies (TCP/ DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter) as well as routing protocols
Ø Using of QXDM, QCAT, Spectrum Analyzer, Sanjole
Ø Understanding of 5 G radio interfaces and other key critical interfaces, protocols, and architecture of 3 GPP network
Ø Use of tools* WebGui (Site Manager), Emil, TTI Trace, Syslog, BTS Snapshots, Quality Centre
