There is drug and background check for this position. We need the month of birth and last 4 of the SSN to be able to create their secure ID in the system to be able to submit. They do need to have a vehicle just in case they need to provide service to employees at potential offsite locations (if needed, mileage will be reimbursed).
- Candidates must have experience working on/fixing printers – thermal and thermal applicators and experience working on servers.
- The manager does want a strong Cisco background. "local candidates only"
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Desktop Technician will various IS Teams to ensure the end user have the tools necessary to efficiently do their jobs. This position will handle all Windows/PC computers and products, including: Desktops, Laptops, peripherals and accessories. May support Senior Level Management both in the office, travel and home environment.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Maintain Desktop/PC hardware and software running on local workstations and resolve all hardware/software problems by either fixing the problem or replacing it with a working component. - Resolve local and network printing issues from connectivity to maintenance and part replacement.
- Relocate computer equipment to different users and locations within Herbalife ensuring that connectivity works upon completion of move.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software, printer and copier issues.
- Provide installation and support to users for all PC equipment.
- Provide follow-up contact with the customer and inform customers of the progress of their computer repair while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication.
- Relocate computer equipment to different users and locations within Herbalife ensuring that connectivity works upon completion of move.
- Provide installation and support for mobile devices.
- May attend North American events to support on-site IS operations if necessary.
- May assist users with PC and Network related issues such for all Apple configuration and network connectivity.
- May assist various Executive home PC?s which include upgrades, maintenance and training.
Manufacturing experience a plus. Position will be remote, will expect the candidate to come onsite if needed, so local candidates only.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years basic Desktop and Laptop hardware and software support
- Minimum 1 years basic mobile device hardware troubleshooting skills
- Minimum 1 years basic Printer maintenance support
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A+ Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Cisco CCNA
- Microsoft Certified Engineer
- Minimum 1 year experience in Cisco Port configuration
