Detailed Job Description
1.Installation and maintenance of WebSphere Application Server.
- Installation of WAS product.
- Experience with SSL configurations in Was.
- Experience in deploying, configuration and administration of J2EE applications on WAS 8.x
- Creating and configuring Clusters and other resources.
- Experience in configuring WebSphere Global Security with various registers.
- Experience on applying fix packs.
- Experience in troubleshooting OutOfMemory, GC, hung threads, CPU Starvation issues.
- Experience in creating scripts / utilities to automate repetitive tasks (back-ups, refreshes, fail overs, health check etc.)
- Generate and propagate webserver plugin
2.Installation of WCS and maintenance
- Installation of WebSphere product
- Creating WCS instances.
- Experience on applying fix packs for both the product and instances.
3.Installation of SOLR and maintenance
- Experience in setting up search index
- Experience in enabling replication for search servers.
- Create custom scripts for indexing jobs
4.Unix/Linux knowledge
- Creating File system
- Creating NAS drives / Symbolic links
- Change the ulimit values
