Duties:
We are seeking a Data engineer to join a growing AI Development & Delivery team. This role will work closely with data scientists and business analysts to help define project requirements and be responsible for managing and organizing data to development AI models. The primary role of the data engineer to curate training data sets for the data scientists. This includes data acquisition, constructing data sets, applying data quality checks, orchestrating data movement, applying complex transformations, creating new data features and all functions associated with data management.
To succeed in this role, one must possess experience and skills in programming, mathematics and computer science. Soft skills are also equally important to relay findings to other team members. This role requires advanced critical thinking and extensive collaboration to ensure we create solutions in the most efficient manner possible.
