Manage cloud application using common DevOps and Agile practices to successfully keep uptime and delivery work on automating the site systems to self-manage and self-heal.
Work on software deployments, incidents response, on-call duty and manual intervention.
Build software and automation to help operations and support teams.
Document "tribal" knowledge Conducting post-incident reviews and blameless postmortems. Designs, develops, tests and delivers software to automate manual operational work. Engages with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability.
Monitoring production systems, including tuning thresholds, and generally looking for anomalies and hunting down issues that happen in production.
Co-ordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure responsiveness for technical support to end user.
Maintain of comprehensive documentation on the Incident procedures.
Work with internal and external teams to diagnose performance issues.
Improve efficiency of the deployment processes across a fast-growing number of regions through automation and scale improvements to tools and dashboards.
Ensuring and exceeding SLO's.
CRITICAL SKILLS :
10+ years professional development and Operations experience with SRE ways of working will be a plus point.
Experience in cloud and microservices.
Experience with CICD environments.
Experience with Agile Development.
Experience in determining operational feasibility by evaluating, analyzing requirements and solutions.
Deep understanding and knowledge of modern monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, APIGEE, Working knowledge of java and scripting language such as Python and AI libraries.
Experience with some of the DevOps standard tools such as docker, Kubernates, Jenkins, git, consul, Vault, Gitlab, Artifactory.
SRE certification will be a plus point.
Effective interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with various teams.
