Detailed Job Description :
- Ideal candidate will perform the role of Scrum Master (50%) and Release Train Engineer (50%)
- Guide and coach the teams on the Agile Release Train on Scrum practices and develop their understanding of Agile principles
- Help define norms/agreements for the ART and enforce the agreements
- Coordinate and facilitate ART ceremonies (for example, Backlog Refinement, Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync or PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums), System Demos, and Retrospective.
- In collaboration with the Product Manager, ensure the program has a healthy product/program backlog
- Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
- Manage the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
- Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional)
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance
- Able to do postmortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
- Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program Implement and support principles, rules and processes
- Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow
- Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the ART
- Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the ART to support value delivery and PI commitments
- Responsible for providing status updates and reporting pertaining to ART plans/delivery/timelines/impediments to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology solutions are met for the epics/features delivered by the ART
- Measure ART delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the ART to identify improvement opportunities
- Capture data to help determine/track product funding and resource acquisition needs
- Should have good understanding of Application Architecture
- Certified SAFe RTE and/or Certified SAFe Agilist
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience working in large organizations, ideally Financial Services
