The Role:
You will develop UI for a diversity of applications which are used by our product owners and customers globally. You will be working on cutting edge technology tools for the manufacturing industry. As a Front-End UI developer, the primary responsibility will be rendering information as friendly as possible. You will work with the full stack developers, product managers, quality assurance engineers, and software architecture teams to execute and implement on UI development. You will be challenged to build applications quickly but thoughtfully, balancing speed to market with longevity and scalability, that deliver extraordinary customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Rapid prototyping of new features for web applications per business requirements to display data, images, forms and reports
- Design, develop, and maintain software systems focusing on data visualization
- Contribute to projects focusing on ingesting, querying, and processing data
- Collaborate with colleagues in design and code reviews
- Develop means for deploying, scaling, and monitoring software systems
- Characterize complex problems related to the scalability, reliability, performance, and security of our systems
- Owns projects and always seeks ways to improve efficiency and operations
- Drive and contribute to other projects as required or as business needs change
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Front End Development/UI development
- Expert understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and JSON best-practices
- Experienced with web app MVC frameworks/libraries: AngularJS, ReactJS(including flux, redux)
- Strong understanding of common Web technologies, languages and frameworks; such as, C#, Kendo UI, Vue, Angular, NodeJS, Git and experience with REST APIs
- Understanding of SQL, database design and modeling
- Experience in building scalable systems
- Understanding of automated testing, deployment process and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate in writing clean code and creating world-class software
- Demonstrate a good understanding of software fundamentals including software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability.
- Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- You must be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience is a must.
- Professional and positive communication skills.
- Previous internship and/or project experience is a plus.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on different assignments
- Experience in data presentation and analytics is a plus
