Handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues.
Ability to create and maintain scripts in shell (Bash, Korn, etc.) , Python, Perl or other language.
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
Install and configure software, hardware, networks and Upgrade and patch systems with new releases and models.
Able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. Troubleshoot issues and outages
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
User administration (setup and maintaining account) Set up accounts and workstations and setup security policies for users, including password and identity management
Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required.
Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders.
Perform RCA for Major Incidents related to his / her tower Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement.
Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents, Hardware troubleshooting & Vendor coordination Prepare Weekly and monthly status reports.
Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents
The ability and patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
