Title: Linux & UNIX Admin

Location: Katy TX  (Day 1 onsite)

Duration: Long term contract

Candidate should be open for flexibility & rotation

AIX to RHEL migration:

•          Install /Configure and troubleshoot the Linux Systems  (6.10/7.X and 8.X version)

•          File system related troubleshooting (EXT* and XFS file systems)

•          Debugging complicated server crashes/core files/performance issues

•          Perform System OS patching and troubleshooting during the OS patch.

•          Good troubleshooting knowledge about the Redhat Satellite 6 version and patch management.

•          Good Knowledge in VMWare VM troubleshooting

•          Maintain System Security vulnerability.

•          Resolving problems with LDAP and SSSD server authentication.

•          Knowledge about the Linux OS In-Place upgrade

•          Migration Knowledge in AIX to Linux

•          Building specification for server configuration based on application requirements

•          Installation, configuration and administration of RHEL and Suse Linux  servers

•          Creating and managing a new File system and troubleshooting (LVM)

•          Excellent technical skills on AIX6.1,AIX 7.1 & AIX7.2

•          Strong skill on Power hardware Management ,HMC & COD licensing analysis

•          Experience on OS patch and upgrades & new LPAR from scratch

•          User and file system administration

•          Knowledge on IBM, NETAPP, Pure SAN/NAS storages

•          Good understanding of Networking concepts as well as physical hardware

•          Scripting knowledge (Shell/perl/Ansible)

•          Knowledge on Puppet

•          Knowledge on Redhat Cluster/Pacemaker Cluster
