Responsibilities & Skills:

Experience in Oracle DB admin with hosting Oracle in AWS (RDS & EC2)

Responsible for currently maintaining Oracle 12c including backup, performance tuning, capacity planning and documentation

Participate in the problem identification/resolution and root cause analysis process

Participate in disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), design, and execution

Good knowledge in golden gate replication

Experience applying Quarterly PSU Patching

Experience in export and import activities

Expert knowledge of backup and recovery practices

Works with development teams, propose Oracle database physical design

Knowledge on EC2, RDS, IAM services

Knowledge in rehydrating EC2 instance to latest AMI.

Knowledge on taking snapshot backups
