JOB DETAIL

This is a very senior (10 + years) Program Manager role with the focus being on Operational Management rather than ITExperience in the financial/Wealth Management is a huge plus. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to West Palm Beach when the time comes.

Timing & Duration: Getting someone aboard in 2 weeks; 12 month project with likely extension, but will only commit resource for a year.

Location: West Palm Beach with some travel to Cincinnati, Ohio when necessary; however the client is working remotely presently so initially the person will be working remotely. The schedule will evolve as things get back to normal. Preference is to have someone local, who will over time be able to be on site some of the time.

Skill Set: Role: Interim PMO/Project Manager (Operational); this person will report to the CIO, but this is not an IT PMO. Currently, the CIO is acting in this role, but needs to offload the PMO to an Interim resource so he can focus on the more strategic responsibilities of the organization and to work closely with Business. Some responsibilities: Project tracking, issue tracking, facilitating cross-functional meetings and follow-ups, producing progress reports, establishing project management tools, etc. A dedicated functional expertise is not required because this person would work across the enterprise.

 

  • Work with project teams to drive clear action items, facilitate decision making and navigate governance processes.
  • Support the project teams to evaluate strategies, analyze and identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate planned activities with business Lines to ensure projects are executed in a timely manner and within the allocated budget.
  • Manage project costs and work with the Finance group to track payments, including those associated with activities that are conducted by partners.
  • Support alliance management activities, working with project teams and academic investigators to ensure the smooth running of all project start-up, running, and close-out activities including reagent and funding transfers between institutions.
