GeneralPosition Summary:

TheETL Developer is responsible for supporting the information managementarchitecture of the Data Warehouse. This role is responsible for extracting,transforming and loading data into data staging, and the data warehouse. Thisrole will work closely with the data architect, data modeler, data analysts andother project team members to understand requirements regarding ETL designflows and data integration. They will collaborate on definition, development,and maintenance of standards and processes. The ETL Developer will develop ETLsolutions following the well-defined data warehouse design and development bestpractices.

EssentialFunctions/Responsibilities:

?        Developefficient and high performing ETL solutions using SQL Server IntegrationServices and Azure Data Factory.

?        Participatein design review sessions and peer ETL reviews.

?        Assessand profile source and target data (data structure, quality, completeness,schema, nulls, etc.) and requested business use cases.

?        Summarizestesting and validation results and is able to communicate and makerecommendations/decisions on the best course of action to remediate.

?        Resourcefulat coming up with solutions using existing or available resources based onknowledge of the organization and level of execution effort.

?        Participatein agile work environment, attending daily scrum meetings and completing sprintdeliverables on time.

?        Supportspractices, policies and operating procedures and ensures alignment todepartmental objectives and strategy.

?        Teammateis able to make the complex seem less complex, is a consensus builder andbrings people and teams together.

?        Isable to calm tense situations by bringing clarity and organization to theforefront.

?        Ensureseach level of the organization has the information needed and the contextneeded to produce favorable results.

Specific JobSkills and Experience:

?        5 years’ experience in designing and developing ETL solutions.

?        2 years’ experience using Azure Data Factory or any cloud based ETL tool.

?        3 year’s working knowledge in a Data Warehouse/BI environment.

?        3 years’ experience using Microsoft TSQL, SSIS, and SSAS

?        StrongRDBMS experience and SQL Server.

?        StrongSQL skills including complex SQL constructs, DDL generation.

?        Snowflakeexperience is plus.

?        Experiencewith TFS is preferred.

?        Demonstratedexcellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem solving andinterpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar required.
