Backend Developer

4-6 weeks Project

This is for someone who just needs something in between contracts.

We are seeking a Back End Developer with demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise big data solutions. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and solid execution skills to create data ingests and ETL code to transform data into our data lake.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy infrastructure to support the ingestion of data from a source system
• Develop and deploy the Python code to perform the ingest and ETL

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience developing software applications
• 4+ years of experience with Python 3
• 2+ years of experience

• 1+ years of experience
  • Serverless Framework
  • AWS
    • LakeFormation
    • SQS
    • SNS
    • Lambda
• Understanding of document description languages such as JSON and XML
• Clear understanding of software development best practices
• Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and standard Git Flow
