12+ years of mainframe programming using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Java, Rexx, flat/sequential files, GDGs, and VSAM.
10+ years of SQL development including stored procedures, triggers, functions.
5+ years' experience JAVA / Oracle will be a huge plus
2+ years of experience working in Agile
1+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience designing architectures for highly available, highly scalable, and highly secure enterprise systems.
Experience migrating workloads from mainframe and non-x86 legacy systems to distributed x86 infrastructures on-premises or in the Cloud.
Experience integrating mainframe and non-x86 legacy systems with distributed Linux-based or Windows-based x86 servers
Experience in legacy modernization techniques related tools and approaches
Experience with REST / SOAP services and clients.
Experience with database platforms / SQL.
IBM WebSphere and MQ experience.
Performing all activities relevant to the project lifecycle SDLC in support of projects for the North America Retail Bank.
On time delivery of high quality design/code with low rate of test and production defect
Expertise in Legacy modernization
Collaborate development related activities in a factory model where the deliverables are built round-the-clock between onshore and offshore teams located across multiple locations
Core focus on mainframe applications with a passion towards continuous improvement and modernization
Work both independently as well as ability to lead a team of onshore/offshore developers, document technical requirements, code specifications, review signoff test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project.
