Job Summary : 

As a Technical Design Expert, you will:

·         Represent IT to the business or IT groups receiving services, ensuring that expectations for IT services are met.

·         Create the detailed IT solution/service design, based on functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints.

·         Develop, build, configure, customize and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements.

·         Hold end to end accountability for business processes, integrate services horizontally across organizational units, and manage interfaces between Service Delivery projects.

·         Create and lead solution designs for internal customers

·         Create the detailed solution designs and related specifications necessary to deliver technical solutions.

·         Ensure solution designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of software/service.

·         Peer review and sign off detailed solution designs.

·         Ensure that detailed solution designs adhere to solution architecture designs and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements.

·         Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services.

·         Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope.

·         Assist in scoping of requirements to meet business needs.

·         Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.

·         Participate in requirement gathering in global/regional workshops.

·         Help mapping local requirements to a global standard.

·         Engage and participate in decision making discussions with internal customer groups.

·         Deliver detailed documentation of solutions.

·         Ensure implemented solutions are aligned to specifications and are fit for purpose.

·         Engage in planning of releases / deployments together with Project Managers and Operations Team.

·         Support releases / deployments between development environments and validation / productive orgs.

·         Review deployment packages with developers.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

·         Data and Analytics Experience

·         Related pharma industry experience highly desirable.

·         AWS, Snowflake, SQL, SPARK  skills required.

·         Demonstrated experience in using development toolkits that manages code repositories, code integration, build deployments and continuous integrations tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins,).

·         Knowledge on system / API integration and basic authentication methods (Keywords: SOAP, REST, Salesforce API, OAUTH, SSO) desired.
