Position : SAP PLM Process

Location : New Jersey

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

1. Should have Expertise in EH&S

2. Experience on interface to SAP and Non-SAP system

3. Strong SAP Experience with hands-on EH&S.

4. Must have very good configuration and design knowledge in these modules

5. Ability to create ‘training manuals’ and ‘user guides’.  Well versed with tools such as Report Writer, ABAP Query and LSMW

Good-to-Have

1. Ability to analyse business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution

2. Basic Debug Knowledge in ABAP development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes,  

3. Experience with SAP message outputs and configuration of output conditions using NACE

4. Experience in analysis of interface errors

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1

Partners with business users and stakeholders to methodically investigate, analyze, review and provide technology solutions to business functions and processes

The role of SAP System Analyst EH&S is to focus on SAP Environmental Health and Safety, Dangerous Goods Management, Product Integration and Compliance reviews. This function involves frequent communication with other Business and IT departments in the IFF world.

Works with architects/SMEs to drive solutions and create level of effort estimates

Collaborate with other IT & Business teams to deliver Support/projects to IFF Standards

Translates business requirements for process & system improvements

6

Develops detailed functional specification, acceptance criteria

7

Designs, plans and runs tests to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements

8

Able to understand other technology tools related to EH&S and work with them to meet business requirements.

Ability to deliver & work with new-generation SAP modules pertaining to EH&S

10

Provide application support including: o Investigation, issue resolution and performance monitoring o Advice or training users o Updating documentation o Data manipulation or defining enhancements
