Sr. Android Developer - All Visas - Need local candidates in ATlanta, GA

Client: Publicis Sapient

Role: Sr. Android Developer

Location: Atlanta- remote for now- please focus on local candidates only for this role

Rate: max $60

Duration: 6 month with possible extension

As a Senior Android Developer you will help to realize high-end technology products with significant impact to our global organization. You will design, develop and roll out solutions using modern technologies and ways of working along with your team. Moreover, in this hands-on role you will work with the user interface, framework integration, back-end API definitions, and application architecture across our entire stack. Come join us!

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have 6+ years of high-quality software development experience (preferably 4 years of experience developing Android applications)

• You are highly skilled in Kotlin, Android versions 7-10, and Android Jetpack

• You have experience w/application modules, custom library creation

• Strong experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, and quality matrix

• Working experience with various CI/CD tools and/or traditional build systems (i.e. Gradle, Fastlane, Jenkins, etc.)

• Strong design skills applying Android frameworks, data structure, algorithm knowledge

• Knowledge of Android persistence solutions like SQLDelight

• Knowledge of Android networking using Retrofit and coroutines

• Ability to measure and tune application performance using Android Studio Profiler

• Have worked in an agile environment

• You are a strong communicator who embraces collaboration
