Quality Assurance Analyst:

We are looking for a QA Analyst with investment management industry experience to support the

development of proprietary applications. The successful candidate will assist engineering teams

by devising test plans, writing, and executing test cases in Agile development processes. You will be

working with a team of developers, technology operations and business users including portfolio

management, operations, traders, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

•       Work closely with development and business teams to define testing requirements

•        Plan, create and manage overall Test Planning strategy

•        Continuously identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies

•       Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause, provide details to developers and track resolution

•       Test and Deploy multiple applications; facilitate business teams in user acceptance testing

•        Create Test Data and write SQL queries for testing the applications

•       Assist team in taking Ship/No-ship decisions for releases

Preferred Skills and Experience:

•        5+ years of testing and quality assurance experience

•        3+ years of relevant investment industry experience

•       Working experience of using collaboration tools like Gitlab, Jira and Confluence

•        Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical major

•        Experience with agile development methodologies

•        Experience with service and API-oriented testing

•        Good working knowledge of Linux command line tools

•        Experience with complex multi-tier enterprise software deployments

•        Understanding of programming languages and object-oriented concepts

•        Understanding of relational databases, with emphasis on SQL server, data loading mechanisms

and reporting

•        Understanding of financial market data

•        Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       Willingness to take initiative, seeing problems through to final completion
